A Family Business Since 1913
Murray’s was founded by Michael Murray and his wife Hanna, who opened a family drapery store in Dromcollagher, Co. Limerick. They worked together in the shop and lived above it with their two children, Patrick and Joan.
In 1923, they moved to a new location in Charleville, Co. Cork, where the store remains today.
A Tradition of Growth and Service
Today, Murray’s is still family-owned, run by Paul Murray, the fourth generation.
Over the years, the business has grown from a small drapery store to a substantial department store offering everything from Ladies and Men's Fashion, Footwear, and Children’s Wear to Lingerie and Home products.
